immgration portrayed in movies

recently i have watched a movie called under the same moon. this movie showed most of the detailed experience of what an illegal immigrant face when they are coming to america illegally. people are faced with many issues that force them to illegally come to america. people who come to america are seeking help in many forms, this is because they do not have any help in their country. this is  because they might be poor or the entire country itself may be poor. this movie give us the painfull feeling of the two main characters who struggle to reunite. they came to america like most illagl immigrant do, by crossing the border. life apart for them was like a paipn with out heeling. even thought people might say that crossing the border illegal is obscure many people do not understand the many agendas for these. most or even all the time illegal immgrants sacrifice their life to come to america becayse they have a motive of which they need to fulfill. the movie show us how illegal immigrants  become good asset in america. thses people serve as good workers in the low paying work force, theses people do what most people residing in america do not want to do. mores so the movie show the viewers that coming to america illegally can most of the time result badly. infact when these illegal immigrant come to america they are not guaranteed jobs, they are not too far away from the life they left in thier counrty. this is because they would have to  accept less bacuse they are not documented to do any thing. also illegal immration break up the connection in the family. i personal feel that illgally coming to america is a big step to make because this result can be for the good or the bad. more so i do not label these people because i know that their reason for coming to america is aloid in the sens that any body in their shoes is guarteed to make their decision also. this movie really open my eyes to the unseen truth about the issue in which these peopel face when  coming to america illegall. in fact this film gave me a special feelin towards these people for their bravery strength. i feel that their strength motivated me in the sence that like them they knew the result of coming to america illegally but they still went ahead with it. this really make me that if something need to be done in your life you should go for it even though you know the effects of that situation will not be a good one. this film thought me that faith is a good tool to keep in life.

unknown secret

In this blog i will explore the different struggles that are evident a movie title "under the same moon".This movie shed light on the problems which are faced when illegal immigrants attempt to coime to the united states. when illegal immigrants come to the U.S there most common motive is to better there lives throught oppertunties which the U.S have availbale in many different ways. in fact this movie one of the character carlitos depicts a struggling problem. carlitos who is age nine was dealing with a minor fact that his mother resides in the U.S illegally and he was not sure when he would see her again. this case of parents coming to the U.S leaving behind there children and not sure when they would be back for to there rescue is somewhat usual.

carlitos was left behind with his grandmother who he was in care of at this time. he showed a great deal of open mindness. this is so because he understood the fact that his wasnt present in his ife and he also personality showed that he was a determine and brave in his actions. due to carlitos determination to be with his mother he  made it his task to get to her. his determination to do so came from the fact that no one including his mother had an answer to when he will see his mother again. even thought he his stay with his grandmother didnt show any discontent he still an interest to be with his mother. in addition one major conflit that carlitos had to deal with is that when he asuccessfully made it to the U.S he was challenge with fact that he can be able to see her but without the help of someone who already the U.S. this is a second problem that illegal immigrants face when they come to the U.S illegally, they are set to adapt to the U.S without secure stability. i say this to say that when someome is illegal in they are limited to the ways in which they adapt and this leads to disadvantage. thi si so because when you are new to the U.S the living condidtions is differnt so it wasnt easy for carlitos to find where his mother resided because he knew where she was but he didnt know the area. so this became a struggle for him. conclusively this struggle was over came with the fact that he had someone that he could relat to and undertsand so this then mad his journey a bit easier, excluding the internal conflits they had.

carlitos internal conflict with enrique who he was associated with when he was on his journey to find his mother. there problem was typical in that there values as a person was different since there age range was very much apart. also there reason for being in the U.S was the same but there motive was certainly not, so this made there internal conflict. enrique was more self opinated while carlitos was independent in finding his mother also he still consider enrique feeling. some ways that carlitos dealt with this problem was by simply motivating enrique that things will be ok, and this was done by carlitos actions. he foun a job for them, also he boost enrique determination by his uplifting  personiality. cralitos used this very often and this stablised their time together.

enrique still showed a bit of self opiniation throught this movie but towards the end of the movie carlitos personality prevailed successful . this is so because enrique became intersted to help carliots find his mother. this showed not to be an easy task siince finding her where abouts was a kind of mystery, since finding her locations was tough. nevertheless they found a common ground and they stick togetherr. i personally feel that enrique's actions were understandable. this is so because if we explore the conditions of there situation we will be sure to act the same way he did, and that is by being close minded towards others or even feeling a need for success without thinking aboyt the rest!.moreover the resolution to such situations i belive is personal, i think that caeses like these are based on the mid set of the individua; and the willingness to make the rights things occur.also we hold the key to our future and belive that we resolve such issued if your motive is unquestionable like carlitos.

what if...

       HELP!

the sorrow and pain is real

destroying my family and me

leaving might be mean

but only if you can feel this!

then this sorrow and pain will reveal

      FLEEING!

from my native land

where life is like a turbulent land

survival is my plan

but promises is the main stand

    JOURNEY!

it was a horrible experience

filled with mommories but a dissolving pain

the rsult is left in the hands of the patrols

the patrols i guess or the journey itself?

   CAPTURE!

it may have resulted from pessisim

i eserve better than this messs

caught and held in capitivity

while isolated without an activity

how reorseful this makes me feel

I REGRET LEAVING!! is may favourite pharse

but HOPES and DREAMS are my favourite words

self conciousness

"I did not think of my color of my skin consciously except when I heard the adults talking about complexion". I relate to this quote differently than the Puerto Rican girl did in the story. She feels that she doesn't need to think about her complexion only when she hears people or adults talk about it. This girl disregards every fact that exists with her being vulnerably of being racial slurs. I feel her experience made her think differently and made her who she is and how she feels about her being Puerto Rican. On the other hand I do think about my complexion whether or not people talk about it or not, this is so because I think I am sometimes self conscious! Many times I sit and reminisce on my life experiences in reference to my skin color. I believe that my mind is mentally structured to function racist when I am around a certain group of people, especially the white groups.

Many or most of the time I find myself trying to perfect in the present of white people simply. This is so because I am trying to break the stereo type between the blacks and white. Growing up I have always heard black people saying that white people thinks that all black folks are indecent group of people and they do not know how to conduct themselves. So ever since was taught to not act unmannerly in the streets or any place at all. I have always tried to be perfect in the presence of white people. These comments I have heard for most of my life and I change my behavioral practices and my morals also.

One case in which this quote relates to me is when recently I was going to a job interview in white neighborhood. Before the interview I found myself shopping for formal clothing and even checking the backgrounds of the job. I figured that if I looked sophisticated and knew a lot about the job this would lessen the chances of the white people looking at me in a racist way or even think that I am naive, again I did felt self conscious of my complexion. On the other hand usually I would go to an interview dressed formal but not sophisticated as I did for this interview. I feel that this quote relates to me and not the girl in the story because think she totally blocks out the fact that racism exist but I don't because I have always heard racist conversations.
